I have just had a breast cancer lump removed by Sascha. She has been very caring and has kept both myself and my husband up to date with the next part of my treatment. She is a very bubbly character and happy to answer all our questions and help us through this in any way that she can. I feel happy that I am in safe hands.

Sascha is a warm, friendly surgeon who listens and understands her patient's fears & concerns and puts them at ease. The routine follow-up appointments after surgery are also reassuring.
Sascha performed two lumpectomies on me a year ago however, looking at the result, you would never know I had surgery at all as there is now no visible scarring. I have no hesitation in recommending her.
I've just had my first mammogram since the surgery and all is clear, thank you Sascha!

She was absolutely brilliant, kind, caring, informative and put me immediately at my ease. She has managed my care so quickly and kept me informed what she was doing and why throughout.

Although obviously a very difficult experience to go through it was made so much easier by the consideration and attention of the staff. Having had to stay in over night rather than be alone at home after an operation, I can honestly say the treatment by the whole nursing staff was exemplary.
Miss Dua makes one feel so confident and pays a great deal of attention to detail as to the wishes of the patient.

My first meeting with Sascha Dua I found her very friendly, which straight away put me at complete ease.
She has totally won my trust and confidence with regards to my treatment, to which I can only say, has and continues to be exemplary

Sascha Dua FRCS MD is a Consultant Breast Surgeon with specialist training in Oncoplastics, Breast reconstruction and a further higher specialism in cosmetics. Sascha went to medical school at Guys and St Thomas's (University of London) and undertook her higher surgical training at leading centres including 4 years at the Royal Marsden Hospital, where she won a scholarship to undertake a doctorate as the first surgical scientist at the Breakthrough Breast Cancer Research Centre, reknowned for its work on the BRCA2 gene and cancer genetics. Sascha was awarded the prestigious Raven Prize in Academic surgery for research in 2007, and has been a specialised breast consultant since 2011 in Mid Essex Hospitals Trust.
